In Fallout 76 you can get 20 legendary weapons, each of which is only available once in the entire game. These best weapons are marked with a star and have additional bonuses compared to their normal versions. We show you the locations, values and effects of all these weapons in the list and photo gallery.
The legendary weapons in Fallout 76 are almost always received as rewards for main quests and side quests in the wasteland of West Virginia. There is everything your heart desires, from throwing weapons to melee weapons to firearms. We'll show you where you can find all of these best weapons on the following pages of this photo series.

You should always value unique weapons and also install the best mods on them to get the most out of them. You can also upgrade them to better versions at weapon workbenches to suit your level. This also increases the damage dealt.

Weapon: Anti-burnt training pistol

Location: You get it during the main quest “Those Who Walk Through Fire” before entering the Belching Betty Mine (see map).
Weapon: Please Raise (Modified Super Hammer)
Type: Two-handed melee weapon

-90% weight + 10% health points
Location: You get it as a reward when you complete the side quest “Mayor for a Day”. This starts in the Watoga Community Center (see map), where you will receive a broadcast from the mayor.
Weapon: Bunker buster (rocket launcher)
Type: Heavy weapon, explosive weapon

+20% damage
Location: You get it as a reward when you complete the main quest “One of Us”, which takes place in the Whitespring Bunker (see map).
Weapon: Camden club
Type: One-handed melee weapon

Location: Received as a reward for exchanging 50 Mr. Fuzzy Tokens at Camden Park in Ash Heap (see map).
Weapon: Daisy Cutter (Modified Fatman)
Type: Explosive weapon, heavy weapon

Location: You get “An Organic Solution” as a reward when you complete the side quest. This starts by examining Ella Ames' bunker north in the moor west of the lake (see map).
Weapon: The Dragon (Four-Barreled Rifle)
Type: Exotic weapon, non-automatic rifle

Can be found in Power Plant: Thunder Mountain. You can find this in the bog north of the lake (see picture above left). Can be dropped from the boss at the end of the Wendigo Cave. The cave can be found in Savage Divide, south of the Observatory and northeast of the Top of the World (see picture above, middle). The wandering super mutant dealer Grahm sometimes has the weapon for sale. The robot dealer in Harpers Ferry sometimes has the weapon for sale . Harpers Ferry is a village pretty much in the middle of the moor. It is located west of the river east of the Sunday Brothers Cabin (see image above right).
Weapon: Grant's saber
Type: One-handed melee weapon
Values and bonuses: –
Location: You get it as part of the side quest “The Lady of Mysteries: Forging a Legend”. You start this longer quest series by examining a corpse of one of the followers of the Order of Mysteries. You can find such a corpse very early on in the outdoor area of the AVR Medical Center (see map). It's lying next to a trash can.
Weapon: Pumpkin grenade
Type: grenade
Values and bonuses: Your target takes additional damage and radiant damage for 5 seconds.
Location: You get it as a reward when you complete the daily quest “Trick or Treat”. You can start this at the House of Pumpkins. You can find it in the north of Savage Divide. Pay attention to the pile of pumpkins on the world map, you have to go there (see map).
Weapon: Meteorite sword
Type: One-handed melee weapon
Values and bonuses:
+10% damage to humans – 90% weight + 50% increased durability
Location: Possible reward for completing the “Danger of Collapse” event. This starts at the abandoned Kittery mine northeast of Mount Blair in Ash Heap (see map).
Weapon: Nail gun
Type: One-handed melee weapon
Values and bonuses: This weapon's damage increases the less health you have.
Location: Reward for completing the “A Night of Violence” event. This event can start at various locations in Savage Divide and you have to kill the legendary monster “Night Stalker” during the course.
Weapon: Paddleball
Type: Exotic weapon
Values and bonuses: –
Location: Received as a reward for exchanging 50 Mr. Fuzzy Tokens at Camden Park in Ash Heap (see map).
Weapon: Pyrolator (Modified Flamethrower)
Type: Heavy weapon, energy weapon
Values and bonuses: Reduces the target's damage dealt by 20% for 3 seconds.
Location: You get it as a reward when you complete the side quest “Hunter… desperately wanted”. You start this when you examine Harpers Ferry in the moor (see map). Examine one of the three terminals in the area and select Missing Persons → Missing Hunting Party to start the quest.
Weapon: Rose' injector
Type: Improv Rifle, Exotic Weapon
Values and bonuses: After shooting, makes the target very strong for 60 seconds and then very weak for 60 seconds.
Location: You get “Great Tactics” as part of the main quest (see map).
Weapon: scrap metal

Location: Can only be used as part of the daily quest “False Identity” during the scrap throw mini-game. You can start the quest in Camden Park in the very northwest of Ash Heap (see map).
Weapon: Black Diamond
Type: One-handed melee weapon
Values and bonuses: +1 Strength
Location: You get “Great Tactics” as a reward when you complete the main quest. Rose in the Top of the World will then give you the weapon (see map).
Weapon: Sword of Bastet
Type: One-handed melee weapon
Values and bonuses: Improved armor penetration
Location: You get it as a reward when you complete the side quest “The Lady of Mysteries: Forging a Legend”. You start this longer quest series by examining a corpse of one of the followers of the Order of Mysteries. You can find such a corpse very early on in the outdoor area of the AVR Medical Center (see map). It's lying next to a trash can. You can further strengthen the effect of the weapon if you wear the “Eye of Ra” accessory. You also get this with this quest.
Weapon: Somerset Special
Type: Non-automatic pistol
Values and bonuses: Ignores 50% of the target's armor.
Location: Reward for completing the “Back on Patrol” event. It starts on the west side in Morgantown in the northeastern part of the forest (see map).
Weapon: Voice of Set
Type: Non-automatic pistol
Values and bonuses: Additional electrical damage against robots.
Location: You get it as a reward for completing the side quest “The Lady of Mysteries: Prototypical Problems”. You start this longer quest series by examining a corpse of one of the followers of the Order of Mysteries. You can find such a corpse very early on in the outdoor area of the AVR Medical Center (see map). It's lying next to a trash can. You can further strengthen the effect of the weapon if you wear the “Eye of Ra” accessory. You also get this with this quest.
Weapon: Ancient blade
Type: One-handed melee weapon
Values and bonuses: –
Location: Obtained as part of the “Storm and Purge” event. This event can start at random locations in the Ash Heap. You have to clear a construction site of enemies and can then loot the mining machine.
Weapon: Vox injector
Type: Improv Rifle, Exotic Weapon
Values and bonuses: Can make the target “speak”.
Location: Possible reward for completing the daily quest “Need to Talk”. You can start this in the town of Monongah, directly west of the observatory.
